Justin Ffrench arrived from his native home of County Wexford Southern Ireland in 1985.

Working with the construction industry since his arrival, Justin has maintained his connections still to this day with J. Ffrench Heavy Haulage & J. Ffrench Plant Hire Limited. Both companies offer a specialised service to his clients around the world.

Heavy Haulage operates a wide variety of vehicles for all our client's or potential client's needs, carrying from 1 to 200 tons! With the pride of fleet being  12 axles, rear wheel steer and 120 foot/36m long unit & trailer. From long reach excavators to high class yachts; whatever the need, the equipment is available. All permitted moves are carried out with the assistance of J. Ffrench in-house escort vehicles or could potentially be hired. Beavertails, Hi-Ab, Flat trailers, Low Loaders to mention a few.

Plant Hire was founded in 2000, and has gone from strength to strength with an impressive 50+ excavators in the fleet today. From 1 ton mini excavators to our Komatsu PC600 – 60 ton Excavator! All our plant and equipment are fitted with ‘ECO3’ engines, reinforcing our commitment to the environment. To compliment the Plant selection we have a vast array of specialised attachments from shaker buckets, hydraulic rotational sheers and 6 ton hydraulic rotational munchers, to munch through the toughest of concrete!

In addition to the Plant Hire section we also offer a wide range of Articulated Dump Trucks from 25 tons up to 40 tons, which can be hired self drive or with a qualified operator. Again, all environmentally friendly.
